How it works:

Our expertise:

The course is run by qualified Clinical Psychologists and Family Therapists, all of whom are very experienced in working with individuals and couples adjusting to new life circumstances.

As psychologists, an important part of our work is making sure what we are offering is helpful for those we see. Therefore, we have partnered up with researchers at a London University to evaluate our courses. You may notice we ask you to fill in a form or two to help us do this!

This group is brought to you in partnership with The Oak Tree Practice and Little Bee Clinics. You can find out more about them at the bottom of the page.

Who is welcome on the course?

Any parent(s) who are expecting to welcome a child into their lives. Whether you are giving birth, fostering or adopting, this group is for you! If you have a partner, we encourage you to bring them too.

How many people will be in the group?

There will be up to eight people per group. This will allow everyone the chance to speak should they wish.

Do I need to attend each session?

The course is for six sessions, one hour per week. We encourage you to come to all sessions as we discuss a different topic each time and you may miss something important if you don’t attend.

What will the course be like?

Each week we will have a different topic to discuss and some hints and tips to help you achieve a smooth transition into parenthood. We hope it feels like an interesting and insightful group to be a part of!
